¶ How to enable Geolocation Popup
Enabling the geolocation popup in the Blaze Geolocation Redirect app is a straightforward process:
Just head over to Geolocation Redirect | Blaze App's Dashboard menu.
Click the ‘Customize’ button.
In Shopify Theme Editor's App Embed settings, Turn the toggle ‘Geolocation Popup’ ON.
This simple process will activate the geolocation popup, allowing your site to start redirecting visitors to the correct market based on their location.
Also, As described in one of the previous articles "How the Geolocation popup works",
- The geolocation popup is only recommended to the visitors with incorrect Shopping experience based on their GeoIP location.
- The popup is only recommended once on the initial visit.
- Once the redirect choice is opted, our app remembers it and automatically redirects for future visits.

The Blaze Geolocation Redirect app offers a built-in popup editor within the Shopify theme editor, making it easy to customize the content and style of your geolocation popup.

To make sure the Geolocation fits to your brand's identity, lets know about various customization controls available:
- Test Mode: Activate the test mode to preview how the popup will appear and function before making it live.
- Country Flag: Choose whether to display the visitor's country flag on the top in the popup.
- Country/Language Selector: Select from four variants for the selector displayed in the popup:
- Country: Displays a dropdown with the country name (e.g., Canada).
- Country(Currency): Displays a dropdown with the country name and currency (e.g., Canada (CAD)).
- Country and Language: Displays two dropdowns for country and language (e.g., Canada and English).
- Country (Currency) and Language (Code): Displays two dropdowns with country name & currency, and language name with ISO code (e.g., Canada (CAD) and English (En)).
- Title Section & Message Section: Customize the text in both the title and message sections:
- Text Field: Enter the text to be displayed. You can generate text, make content bold or italic, or insert a link.
- Styling Options: Adjust font size, text position, and text color palette.
- CTA Button: Customize the call-to-action (CTA) button:
- Text Content: Change the button text.
- Button Style Options: Choose between Filled, Outlined, or Underlined.
- Button Position: Position the button to the Left, Right, Center, or Full Width.
- Styling Options: Modify text color, background color, border color, and border radius.
- Other Elements: Additional customization options include:
- Country Label Text: Modify the text for the country label.
- Language Label Text: Modify the text for the language label.
- Selector Border Style: Choose between Outline, Underline, or No border.
- Container Background Color: Set the background color for the popup container.
- Hide Close Button:Toggle the visibility of the close button to either allow or restrict the ability to close the popup.
- Blur Background:Toggle between a transparent or blurred popup background to focus attention on the popup content.
- Custom CSS:For advanced styling modifications, use the Custom CSS section to apply your own CSS to the geolocation popup.
